Small groups can build a sense of community within the church. They bring together people who have the same interests, challenges, or life stages. This creates a shared bond that can strengthen the church. Members of a small group can develop close relationships with each other and provide emotional support and accountability.
If that sounds good to you, we have just the place for you!
We're kicking off Small Groups in our church in 2024! Small group sign-up will be during August 2024 (at the Welcome Center) with a kickoff/tailgate party on August 25th. Start a conversation, help create community, and grow deeper in your faith as we gather in small groups and learn from each other.
The first semester begins the week of August 26 and ends the week of October 21. You do not need to be a member of our church to join a small group. If you didn’t get to sign up in the beginning, no worries. You can still join a group.
Fall 2024 Groups
Thursday Evening Small Group: Whether you're a nearly life-long believer or still exploring what it means to live life as a Christ follower, we would love for you to join our small group. We will meet each Thursday evening this fall at 6:30pm at Ludlow Hill Park. Join us as we discuss the week's sermon topic and how we can apply it to each of our lives. Stick around after the discussion for a nice walk around the park or even a game of pickleball if you choose. Childcare is not provided so feel free to bring your kids along to hang out at the park with us if needed.

Thursday Morning Small Group: This group is for anyone of any age - whether you are just trying to figure out who Jesus is, or you have been a long-time follower. Come sit with us as we discuss the Pastor’s sermon topic for the week, review the scriptures, and discover how it applies to our lives. This will be a very informal time where we can get to know each other better and connect with others. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Monday Evening Small Group: Do you want to grow spiritually and relationally? If the answer is yes, then we invite you to join our small group. We will learn and grow in God’s word together as well as support and challenge one another. The group will meet each Monday at 6:30 pm for approximately an hour at First Baptist Church to discuss the weekly sermon topic starting August 26, 2024, for nine weeks. Childcare is not provided
